Singapore Virtual Phone Numbers for business
Give customers a Singapore +65 contact number and answer through SIP, your PBX or a mobile. Compare local, mobile, IP and toll-free options, then choose the number and answering route for your team.
A Singapore contact number for the team that answers.
Your Singapore DID is the public number customers dial. A SIP phone, PBX extension or another configured destination is where your team answers. Keep that contact number separate from the device and location of the person taking the call.
Decide who should answer sales and support calls, then test the main and fallback routes. Our call forwarding guide explains busy and unanswered-call handling. Confirm the selected number's conditions before publishing it to customers.
Connect your Singapore number to business voice services.
Numbers are just the start - outgoing calls, SMS and a full phone system work from the same account.

Choose the Singapore number for your business use case.
Choose the type and features you need before comparing rental. A category label is not approval for every voice, messaging or verification use case. Confirm the actual number and selected offer in your account.
| Number option | Purpose | Check before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| Local / series 6 | A PSTN or IP telephony contact number. | Voice features, subscriber requirements and the selected incoming route. |
| IP telephony / series 3 | An IP telephony number option. | Actual prefix, voice support and conditions; do not infer these from a National catalog label alone. |
| Mobile offer | A mobile-number contact option. | Required voice and messaging capabilities. The label alone does not establish a physical SIM or application approval. |
| Toll-free offer | A contact option with a separate service access format. | Exact prefix, permitted caller networks, mobile charges and reachability from abroad. |
IMDA's National Numbering Plan distinguishes these service formats. This comparison explains number choice; it does not reserve a number or establish current stock.
Use +65 with the complete ordinary eight-digit number.
Singapore has one numbering area. Ordinary PSTN, mobile and IP telephony numbers use eight national digits, without a separate city or trunk code. For international display, put +65 before the complete number. Format examples only: +65 6XXX XXXX or +65 3XXX XXXX; these are placeholders, not complete contact numbers.
Local toll-free 1800 services follow a different format: 1800 plus seven digits. Confirm the exact toll-free number and permitted caller networks instead of turning it into an ordinary eight-digit +65 number. IMDA notes that mobile airtime charges apply to 1800 calls.
Test who can reach your public number separately from where your team answers. Check calls from the networks your customers use, ringing, two-way audio and busy or unanswered handling. Confirm the onward destination's rate if a received call is forwarded to an ordinary mobile or landline.
For outgoing calls, confirm the intended Caller ID and call origin with the team. A Singapore inbound number does not by itself establish approval of its presentation on every outbound route.
How to connect a Singapore business number.
Requirements for your selected Singapore number.
Requirements depend on number type, local telecom rules and use case. We confirm the required documents before activation so your order stays compliant.
Questions before ordering a number in Singapore.
Compare number series, check +65 formatting and confirm the selected offer's capabilities.
How much does a virtual number in Singapore cost?
The headline is the overall starting price across number types. Use each category row for that type's rental, then confirm the exact number and required voice or messaging features. Check any setup fee, usage charges and onward forwarding separately. Your personal account shows the selected supplier's conditions.
How fast is activation?
Standard activations are usually fast after availability and compliance checks. Regulated number types may take longer if documents are required.
Can calls be forwarded internationally?
Yes. Calls to your Singapore number can reach SIP, an existing PBX, a mobile or a call center destination. Confirm any usage charges and test the main and fallback destinations. An incoming route does not by itself establish the Caller ID or permitted origin of outgoing calls.
Are there KYC requirements?
Requirements depend on number type, country and use case. We check required documents before activation.
Do Singapore numbers need a city code after +65?
No separate city code is added to an ordinary eight-digit Singapore number. Put +65 before all eight digits and do not add a domestic zero.
What is the difference between series 3 and series 6?
Series 3 includes IP telephony; series 6 is used for PSTN and IP telephony. Confirm the exact offer's voice features, subscriber requirements and route rather than treating the prefixes as identical products.
Is an 1800 number a normal eight-digit +65 number?
No. The local 1800 format contains eleven digits in total. Confirm its access conditions separately, including overseas reachability and mobile airtime charges.
Are series 3 numbers anonymous or exempt from verification?
No. MDDI's September 2026 statement says voice operators record and verify subscriber particulars, including corporate subscribers and series 3 users. The team confirms the exact documents for your selected offer.
